In the normal sense of the word, a presentation is some kind of talk to an audience, possibly enhanced with visual or audio material. A 'presentation package' runs on a computer to assist with the production of illustrative material to be used in a presentation, either in generating such aids as overhead or 35mm transparencies, or - increasingly - used at the presentation itself, with the on-screen images viewed directly by the audience.
