| reflex, vestibulo-ocular | A reflex wherein impulses are conveyed from the cupulas of the saemicircular canals and from the otolithic membrane of the saccule and utricle via the vestibular nuclei of the brainstem and the median longitudinal fasciculus to the oculomotor nerve nuclei.
