Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by some combination of at least three of the following: edgy feelings, easy fatigue, difficulty in concentrating, irritability, muscular tension or sleep disturbances. There is no spike of panic in GAD, but rather a constant low-level worry.
