The exudate contains granules that may be yellow, white, red, brown, or black, depending upon the causative agent. Mycetoma is caused by two principal groups of microorganisms:
A. Actinomycotic mycetoma is caused by actinomycetes, including species of Streptomyces, Actinomadurae, and Nocardia.
B.
