| brace |
This term is used to describe a piece of wire bent to form a connection between the chassis and the motor. In this way, the motor will not move and the chassis will also be strengthened at the point where the brace is applied. A brace could re-inforce a chassis as well, especially when the chassis has been weakened through crashing during a race.
