X-linked lymphoproliferative s. an immunodeficiency disorder characterized by defective cellular or humoral immune response to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Fulminant infectious mononucleosis, fatal B cell malignancies, or hypogammaglobulinemia can result from EBV infection. Called also X-linked lymphoproliferative disease and Duncan's s. or disease.
