Resource Conservation Areas are those areas characterized by nature-dominated environments (that is, wetlands, forests, abandoned fields). Land within RCAs may be developed for residential uses at a density not to exceed one dwelling unit per 20 acres. Most of the forested area at the entrance to Bay Ridge extending from Black Walnut Creek to Lake Ogleton is classified as RCA.
