Heineke-Mikulicz pyloroplasty. 3. tarsectomy in which the heel, os calcis, and astragalus are removed, the articular surfaces of the tibia, fibula, cuboid, and scaphoid are excised, and the foot brought into line with the leg; called also Vladimiroff o. 4. enterectomy in stages, including exteriorization of the section of intestine to be resected, usually the colon; resection of the exteriorized loop; elimination of the fecal fistula by crushing the spur between the two barrels of the anastomosis; and closure of the fecal fistula.

a chronic bilateral hypertrophy of the lacrimal, parotid, and salivary glands, associated with decreased or absent lacrimation and xerostomia, and often accompanied by chronic lymphocytic infiltration. It may be associated with other diseases, such as Sjögren's syndrome, sarcoidosis, lupus erythematosus, leukemia, lymphoma, and tuberculosis. See also Mikulicz's disease, under disease.
