a modification of Ohm's Law to describe the movement (flux) of gasses across a surface. The law states that flux is directly proportional to the gradient across the surface and inversely proportional to the resistances to flow. The law can be applied to photosynthesis in which case the gradient is the concentration of carbon dioxide inside and outside the leaf and the resistances are the stomatal resistance, mesophyll resistance and boundary layer resistance. ...
