BPH is the non-malignant enlargement of the prostate, frequently occurring in men over the age of 50. The enlargement can result in a gradual squeezing of the urethra, sometimes causing difficulty in urinating. The symptoms can include a hesitant, interrupted, weak stream, urgency and leaking or dribbling and more frequent urination, especially at night. BPH can affect the psychological welfare and sexual life of those with the condition, thereby reducing quality of life. ...
