[EC 2.3.1.22] an enzyme of the transferase class that catalyzes the transfer of the acyl group from palmitoyl coenzyme A or other long chain acyl coenzyme A to a monoglyceride to form a diglyceride. Called also acylglycerol palmitoyltransferase and monoglyceride acyltransferase.
