For example, in Carleton's Bachelor of Arts in Law degree, you could choose to concentrate in Business Law.

refers to the number of credits required in the subject of concentration. Similar to an Honours in term of credits but without the grade requirement. For a 90 credit degree, 60 credits will be taken in the are of concentration.
