| 설명 | 조절할 수 없이 계속 진행되는 세포분열에 의한 조직의 새로운 증식 및 증대. 신생물. (1) 분류 A. 침윤과 전이의 유무에 따라 i)양성종양: 침윤과 전이가 없고 역형성이 낮은 세포로 구성됨. 대개 치료에 반응이 높고, 생명에 크게 지장이 없으며, 재발하는 경우도 적다. 증상은 단지 주위조직에 대한 압박정도이다. ii)악성종양: 침윤과 전이가 있고 퇴화도가 높은 세포로 구성됨. 기원세포가 상피조직일 경우 암종, 비상피성일 경우 육종으로 나누기도 한다. 치료에 잘 반응하지 않고, 재발을 잘 하며, 생존율이 낮다. 흔히 말하는 “암”을 의미한다. B. 조직학적 특징에 따라 샘종, 지방종, 근종 등으로 나누기도 한다. (2) 병리조직학적 특징 A. 육안적 소견 덩어리를 형성하기도 하고 정상조직에 스며들듯이 판상구조를 이루기도 하는 등 다양한 형태를 보인다. 양성의 경우 피막을 가진 경우가 많고 악성의 경우 없는 경우가 많다. 육안소견에 따라 다음과 같이 나눈다. 낭성, 융기성, 괴사성, 폴립모양, 궤양형 등이 있다. 또는 세포의 크기와 모양이 비정상적인 형태로 변화한다. 핵의 극성이 사라지고 핵의 염색성이 짙어진다. 세포질의 염색성도 변화하며 세포들간의 세포주기가 매우 다양해져 많은 세포분열을 보인다. 이러한 일련의 변화를 역형성이라 한다. 역형성의 정도에 따라 조직학적 등급을 나눈다. 또한 각 종양에 따라 각기 다른 병리조직학적 명칭을 붙인다. |

| muscular coat of stomach | Muscular tunic of the stomach, consisting of smooth muscles arranged in three fairly well defined layers: an outer longitudinal layer, continuous with that of the oesophagus but dividing at the cardia into two bands which run along the greater and lesser curvatures, leaving the middle areas of the anterior and posterior walls devoid of longitudinal fibres, and then coalescing in the pyloric region into a complete layer which is continuous with the longitudinal coat of the duodenum. The middle circular layer is most complete and strongest, continuous with the circular layer of the oesophagus at the cardia; it thickens progressively toward the pylorus, ultimately forming the muscular ring of the pyloric sphincter. The inner, oblique layer is unique to the stomach and is most strongly developed in the fundic region and absent along the lesser curvature. | muscular dystrophy | A group of diseases characterised by progressive degeneration and/or loss of muscle fibres without nervous system involvement. All or nearly all of them have a hereditary origin but details of the type of genetic defect and of the prognosis for the disease vary from type to type. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (pseudohypertrophic muscular dystrophy) is the most common form. It is due to a sex-linked recessive allele and this is expressed as an absence of the protein dystrophin, the disease in boys shows extensive but insufficient muscle fibre reformation from satellite cells.
