Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team meeting. This meeting takes place after a student has been referred for special education services. The student is evaluated and a teacher, psychologist, special ed. person and sometimes a social worker go over the evaluation. The purpose of this meeting is to decide whether the student should be recommended to an IEPT as eligible for special education services.
