| 설명 | 외부자극에 의해서 변화하지 않는 지속적인 마음의 상태인 기분(mood)에 이상이 있는 정동장애의 한 종류. 정동장애의 대표적인 질환으로는 외부의 자극에 관계없이 기분이 우울한 우울증(depression)과 지속적으로 외부의 자극에 관계없이 지속적으로 기분이 들뜨는 조증(mania)이 있다. 우울증과 조증이 주기적으로 반복이 되는 정신질환과 조증만 있고 우울증은 없는 경우를 모두 포함하는 개념이다. |

| 설명 | 말을 바르게 발음하지 못하거나 정확하게 이해하지 못하는 병증. 교통수단으로서의 언어로 정보를 전달하는데 있어서의 장애이다. 언어를 이해, 표출하는 생리학적, 심리학적, 언어학적, 물리학적, 사회학적인 각 과정에서의 질병이나 장애로 인해 일어나며 그 원인이나 병태에 따라 구음장애, 말더듬, 음성장애, 언어발달지체, 청력장애, 선천기형 등 많은 질병, 장애로 세분된다. 원인 및 병태의 검사, 진단에는 내과, 이비인후과, 정신과, 치과 등 여러 과목에 걸쳐 정밀조사를 함과 동시에 언어기능검사를 해야 한다. |

| 설명 | 내부의 갈등에 대한 무의식적 방어메커니즘으로 내부의 갈등을 특정한 신체의 증상으로 변환하여 나타내는 것을 말 한다. 이 전환으로 인한 증상을 주로 나타내는 정신질환을 전환장애라고 한다. 전환으로 인한 증상으로 대표적인 것으로는 마비, 경련, 의식장애 등이다. 대개 그 병을 일으킬 만한 병변이 존재하지 않고, 심리적 갈등이 심할 경우에 더욱 증상이 심해지고 증상의 발현으로 인해서 내부적 갈등이 감소되고 증상의 발현으로 인한 2차적 이득(가족들의 관심집중, 돌봐줌)이 있는 것이 이 전환장애의 특징이다. 대개 이 전환장애 환자는 자신의 질환에 대해서 특징적으로 매우 무관심한 태도를 취한다. |
