| 설명 | 피부를 날카로운 바늘로 긁어 피부의 반응을 보는 검사로 피부 과민반응이나 알레르기를 알아보기 위한 검사이다. 바늘끝에 항원을 묻힌 뒤, 피부밑을 긁어 반응을 알아본다. 이때 항원이 아닌 대조물질(예를 들어 보통의 물)을 묻힌 바늘을 같이 반응하여 피부묘기증(dermographism) 단지 바늘의 긁힘만으로 알레르기 같은 반응을 일으키는 현상과 감별해야 한다. 난청, 청력소실(hearing loss) 청각이 저하 또는 상실된 상태. 원인과 정도는 여러 가지인데, 난청은 그 정도가 가장 심한 상태이다. 청각의 전도경로에 장애가 있을 때 난청이 일어나고, 그 병터가 외이도나 중이에 있는 것을 전음난청, 내이에 있는 것을 감음 난청이라 하여 구분한다. 또 병터의 자리를 명시하여 중이성 난청이나 미로성 난청 등으로 세분하기도 한다. |

| 설명 | 대변내에 있을 수 있는 잠혈(눈에 보이지 않는 출혈)유무를 검사하는 방법으로, 혈구내의 heme peroxidase에 의해 guaiac이 산화되는 반응을 이용하여 측정한다. 방법은 3일간에 걸쳐 한 변에서 2군데씩 채취하여 검사한다. 위양성 반응(거짓으로 혈액이 있다고 나타나는 반응)은 식물 과산화효소를 함유하고 있는 홍당무의 섭취나 혈구 성분을 함유하고 있는 고기 섭취 등에서 나타날 수 있으며, 위음성 반응(실제로 혈액은 있지만, 혈액이 없다고 나타나는 반응)은 환원력을 가지고 있는 비타민 C의 복용시 나타날 수 있다. 특히 위양성 반응이 매우 흔하다. |

| 설명 | 사고장애와 정서장애에 민감한 투사검사(projective test). 검은색과 몇가지 색으로 이루어진 잉크얼룩같은 도형이 그려진 10개의 카드를 이용한다. 피검자에게 카드를 보이고 본 것에 대해 말하도록 한다. 다음에는 얼룩의 어느 위치가 피검자가 말한 지각대상을 암시하는지 찾도록 한다. 피검자의 답변을 분석하면 그의 사고와 정서상태에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. |

| 설명 | 소아에 주로 실시하는 검사 방법으로, BCG접종후에나 혹은 결핵균에 한번이라도 노출된 경우에 양성반응으로 나온다. 우리나라에서는 생후 1개월에 BCG예방접종을 시행하므로 대부분 양성으로 나오게 되나, 이 예방접종을 받지 않은 상태에서 양성으로 나오면, 결핵균의 침투를 의심할 수 있다. |

| allergy skin test | Test done on the skin to identify the allergy substance (allergen) triggering the allergic reaction. A small amount of the suspected allergy substance is placed on the skin. | alternating light test | Test to detect a relative afferent defect in one eye by watching pupillary movements. With the patient fixing in the distance, the light is held on each eye for about a second, and quickly moved to the other eye. Assuming no defect of the innervation to the iris sphincter in one eye (which would produce an anisocoria in light), the eye with the weaker light response has a relative afferent pupillary defect. This asymmetry of pupillomotor input can be estimated by holding neutral density filters in front of the better eye until the pupillary responses of the two eyes are balanced. | anterior drawer test | <investigation> This test is performed with the patient lying on their back with there knee in 90 degrees of flexion with the foot resting firmly on the table. The examiner grasps the top portion of the shin with both hands, positioning the thumbs on either tibial condyle. Stabilising the foot the examiner places pressure slowly on the proximal tibia by moving the shin toward the examiner. | antiglobulin test | Haemagglutination test in which coombs' reagent (antiglobulin, or anti-human globulin rabbit immune serum) is added to detect incomplete (non-agglutinating, univalent, blocking) antibodies coating erythrocytes. The direct test is applied to red cells which have been coated with antibody in vivo (e.g., in haemolytic disease of newborn, autoimmune haemolytic anaemia, and transfusion reactions).
