| clavipectoral fascia | A fascia that extends between the coracoid process, the clavicle, and the thoracic wall. It includes the muscular fascia which envelops the subclavius and pectoralis minor muscles and the strong membrane (costocoracoid membrane) formed in the interval between them, and the suspensory ligament of the axilla. The clavipectoral fascia (and the muscles it envelopes) constitute the deep anterior wall of the axilla. Synonym: fascia clavipectoralis. (05 Mar 2000) |

| Colles' fascia | The membranous layer of the subcutaneous tissue in the urogenital region attaching posteriorly to the border of the urogenital diaphragm, at the sides to the ischiopubic rami, and continuing anteriorly onto the abdominal wall. Synonym: fascia perinei superficialis, Colles' fascia, Cruveilhier's fascia, membranous layer of superficial fascia. (05 Mar 2000) |
| plantar fascia | The very thick, central portion of the fascia investing the plantar muscles; it radiates toward the toes from the medial process of the calcaneal tuberosity and gives attachment to the short flexor muscle of the toes. Synonym: aponeurosis plantaris, plantar fascia. (05 Mar 2000) |
| muscular fascia of extraocular muscle | Muscular fascia; the part of the orbital fascia that envelops the extraocular muscles; it is thin posteriorly but becomes thicker where it is continuous with the bulbar sheath; the fascial sheaths of the four rectus muscles are connected by an intermuscular membrane. Synonym: fascia muscularis musculorum bulbi, fascia of extraocular muscles, muscular fascia of extraocular muscle. (05 Mar 2000) |
| Cooper's fascia | H;one of the coverings of the spermatic cord, formed of delicate connective tissue and of muscular fibres derived from the internal oblique muscle (cremaster muscle). See: aponeurosis of internal abdominal oblique muscle. Synonym: fascia cremasterica, Cooper's fascia, Scarpa's sheath. (05 Mar 2000) |

| cremasteric fascia | H;one of the coverings of the spermatic cord, formed of delicate connective tissue and of muscular fibres derived from the internal oblique muscle (cremaster muscle). See: aponeurosis of internal abdominal oblique muscle. Synonym: fascia cremasterica, Cooper's fascia, Scarpa's sheath. (05 Mar 2000) |
| Porter's fascia | The layer of fascia investing the infrahyoid muscles and contributing to the formation of the carotid sheath. Synonym: lamina pretrachealis, middle cervical fascia, Porter's fascia, pretracheal layer. (05 Mar 2000) |
| cribriform fascia | The part of the superficial fascia of the thigh that covers the saphenous opening. Synonym: fascia cribrosa, Hesselbach's fascia. (05 Mar 2000) |
| crural fascia | Fascia of the leg; it is continuous with the fascia lata and is attached proximally to the patella, ligamentum patellae, the tubercle and condyles of the tibia, and the head of the fibula; distally it is thickened to form the flexor and extensor retinacula. Synonym: fascia cruris, deep fascia of leg, fascia of leg. (05 Mar 2000) |
| Cruveilhier's fascia | The membranous layer of the subcutaneous tissue in the urogenital region attaching posteriorly to the border of the urogenital diaphragm, at the sides to the ischiopubic rami, and continuing anteriorly onto the abdominal wall. Synonym: fascia perinei superficialis, Colles' fascia, Cruveilhier's fascia, membranous layer of superficial fascia. (05 Mar 2000) |
| pretracheal fascia | The layer of fascia investing the infrahyoid muscles and contributing to the formation of the carotid sheath. Synonym: lamina pretrachealis, middle cervical fascia, Porter's fascia, pretracheal layer. (05 Mar 2000) |
