Rush are a Canadian rock band comprised of bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Geddy Lee (formerly Gary Weinrib), guitarist Alex Lifeson (real name Alex Zivojinovic), and drummer Neil Peart (pronounced: 'Peert') who recorded their first album in 1974.
