(security, cryptography, company) Rivest, Shamir, Adleman A public-key cryptographic system which may be used for encryption and authentication. It was invented in 1977 and named for its inventors: Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir, and Leonard Adleman. This is the cryptography system of RSA Data Security, Inc.
