Registry number: EC 2.7.1.-
(26 Jun 1999)
TbetaR-I kinase <enzyme> Invovled in transforming growth factor-beta signal transduction
Registry number: EC 2.7.1.-
(26 Jun 1999)
TCK receptor-tyrosine kinase <enzyme> A member of the eph receptor tyrosine kinase subfamily; expressed during xenopus development; shows 79% amino acid identity to hek2; genbank l43621
Registry number: EC 2.7.1.-
Synonym: tck protein
(26 Jun 1999)
threonyl tRNA synthetase kinase <enzyme> From postribosomal supernatants of bom:nmri mouse liver; comigrates with threonyl trna synthetase during several purification steps
Registry number: EC 2.7.1.-
Synonym: thr trna synthetase kinase
(26 Jun 1999)
thymidine kinase <enzyme> Of pyrimidine salvage, catalysing phosphorylation of thymine deoxyriboside to form its 5' phosphate, the nucleotide thymidylate. Animal cells lacking this enzyme can be selected by lethal synthesis, for example by resistance to bromodeoxyuridine and can be used as parentals in somatic hybridisation, since they are unable to grow in HAT medium.
(18 Nov 1997)
ectoprotein kinase <enzyme> From outer plasma membranes; active site and substrate oriented extracellularly
Registry number: EC 2.7.1.-
Synonym: ecto-protein kinase, ectokinase
(26 Jun 1999)
TIE-2 receptor tyrosine kinase <enzyme> Expressed in developing vascular endothelial cells; unlike tie-1, also expressed in lens epithelium and heart epicardium; has the same organization of amino acid sequence motifs characteristic of tie-1; aa sequence of the intracellular and extracellular regions of tie-1 and tie-2 are 79% and 32% identical, respectively; aa sequence of both kinases given in first source
Registry number: EC 2.7.10.-

(26 Jun 1999)
eif-2 kinase <enzyme> A dsrna-activated camp-independent protein serine/threonine kinase that is induced by interferon. In the presence of dsrna and ATP, eif-2 kinase autophosphorylates on several serine and threonine residues. The phosphorylated enzyme catalyses the phosphorylation of the alpha subunit of eif-2, leading to the inhibition of protein synthesis.
Registry number: EC 2.7.10.-
(12 Dec 1998)
