vasomotor neurosis A group of trophic disorders in which pathological changes occur in blood vessels, often due to autonomic nervous system dysfunction; includes Raynaud's disease, acrocyanosis, erythromelalgia, Buerger's disease, causalgia, and trench foot; archaic concept.
Synonym: angioneurosis, vasoneurosis.
