An infection of the brain, caused by an organism called a protozoan. Many people have are infected by this bug without knowing it. Symptoms include fever, headache, confusion, seizures and, if untreated, coma. Toxoplasmosis is a risk for people with very low T cell counts. If you get it, you will need to take medication indefinitely, to prevent it from coming back.
