technician Generally used in the generic sense to indicate the non-academic staff or crew who technically facilitate the educational experience in the interactive classroom, whether it be during a live interactive session or by monitoring and assisting at a help desk before/after a live session. Sometimes the classroom technician and manager roles overlap considerably. For the more specific use of the term, see the Guidelines for Production/Technical Staff (section 4.5).
