A made up language used by the Indians when dealing with other Indian tribes. There were 6 or more languages with over 600 dialects spoken in the Native American nation in the 1800's and this made communication difficult. By using a made up common sign language for items (Fire, homes, eyes, peace, hunting, etc.) each was able to communicate.
