영문 special sense 한글 특수감각
설명   
  감각을 크게 분류할 때, 체성감각, 내장감각 그리고 특수감각 세 가지로 분류하고 있다. 특수감각은 미각, 후각, 청각, 시각의 네 가지 감각의 총칭이다. 촉각은 체성감각에 속하며, 경우에 따라 평형감각을 특수감각에 넣기도 한다.

  냄새감각. 냄새감각은 비강의 가장 위쪽에서 이루어진다. 콧구멍을 통해 들어온 공기의 일부는 위로 올라가 냄새감각을 일으키게 하고, 일부는 코안을 거쳐, 인두를 넘어가 폐로 이어져 호흡활동을 하게 된다. 코안각을 담당하는 세포는 중추신경계 대부분의 세포가 손상되었을 때 재생이 안되는 것과 별개로 재생이 가능하다.

    동의어=gustatory sense. 화학적 감각의 하나. 미각의 수용기는 미뢰인데 구강, 인두, 후두에서도 미각을 느낀다. 미뢰는 꽃 봉오리 모양으로 높이 약 80 μm, 너비 약 40 μm이다. 혀의 점막의 유두 속에 다수가 존재하며, 연구개나 후두의 상피 속에서도 흔히 볼 수 있다. 미뢰 속에는 각각 20∼30개의 미세포가 있고, 미뢰의 상단에는 미공이 있어 표면에 개구하고 있다. 미세포는 미공을 통하여 털 모양의 돌기가 혀 표면에 나와 있으며 이 돌기가 미 자극 물질에 처음으로 반응한다. 성인의 혀에는 약 1만 개의 미뢰가 존재하며, 미뢰 하단으로부터는 몇 개의 신경 섬유가 들어가 있어서 미 세포에 도달하고 있다.【맛】 미각은 단맛, 신맛, 쓴맛, 짠맛의 네 가지로 구별된다. 혀의 선단은 모든 미각에 가장 민감하지만 특히 단맛과 짠맛의 역치값이 낮다. 즉, 단맛과 짠맛에 대하여 가장 민감하다. 혀의 측면은 신맛에 민감하며 짠맛도 느낀다. 설근부는 쓴맛에 민감하다. 미각의 신경 섬유에는 산에만 반응하는 것 외에 신맛과 짠맛, 또는 신맛과 쓴맛과 같이 2종의 자극에 반응하는 것이 있어서 4종의 맛의 정보가 반드시 다른 신경 섬유를 거쳐 중추에 전달되는 것이 아님을 알 수 있다. 실제로 느끼는 음식의 맛은 이것들의 조합에 의한 복잡한 것으로 온도 감각, 혀의 촉각이나 후각도 관계한다. 비타민 결핍 시에는 그 비타민을 함유하는 음식에 대하여 식욕이 생긴다. 미각에는 개인차가 크다. 둘신

    온도 감각
    온도 자극을 수용함으로써 일어나는 피부 감각. 온 자극에 대한 온각과 냉 자극에 대한 냉각으로 분화하며, 감각점으로는 온점과 냉점이 구별되는데 그 수는 냉점이 온점보다 많다. 또, 냉점이 온점보다 표면에 존재하며 민감하다. 오랫동안 같은 온도에 자극되면 순응이 일어나 온도 감각이 소실된다. 일반적으로 16∼40 ℃ 범위 내의 자극 온도에서는 약 3초 후면 순응이 일어난다. 이 범위를 무관 온도 나비 또는 조절 온도라고 한다. 손에서는 33 ℃ 전후에서 순응이 일어나며, 33∼40 ℃에서 온감을 느끼고, 40∼45 ℃에서는 냉감이나 열감, 또는 자통이 생긴다. 10~33 ℃까지는 냉감을 느끼며, 3~10 ℃가 되면 자통도 일어난다. 뜨거움은 온점과 냉점이 동시에 자극을 받아 느껴지는 것이다. 또, 고온이나 저온에서 느끼는 자통은 통점도 동시에 자극되기 때문이다. 다만 고온 자극에 의하여 일어나는 냉감은 모순 냉감 또는 모순 냉각이라 하며 냉각의 민감성에 의한 것이다. 반대로 저온 자극으로 생기는 모순 온감은 정상인에게는 일어나지 않는 현상으로 냉점을 마취시키면 저온에서도 온점이 자극되어 온감이 생기는 현상을 말한다.

    복부 쪽에서 느껴지는 통증, 불편한 느낌, 심한 고통. 주로 소화기 질환에서 볼 수 있는 중요한 증상으로서, 일반적으로 어느 곳이 아픈가에 따라 진단이 가능하므로 복통의 부위를 정확히 알아야 한다. 또 아픔의 정도와 아픈 형태도 진단의 단서가 된다. 사람에 따라 감수성이 다른데, 일반적으로 신경질적인 사람은 심하게 느끼는 경우가 많고, 그 중에는 과장해서 표현하는 사람도 있다. 심한 복통을 산통이라 하며, 간헐적으로 시간을 두어 되풀이하는 경우는 담석이거나 신장 결석을 의심할 수 있다. 명치 부근이 계속 아플 때는 위궤양 등의 천공이나 복막염 등을 생각할 수 있다. 때로는 기생충에 의한 것, 히스테리에 의한 복통의 발작도 있다. 또한 복통에 따르는 다른 증상도 주의하여 치료를 하여야 하며, 심한 복통과 함께 발열이나 구토를 수반할 때는 급히 의사의 진단을 받아야 한다. 구토나 설사가 계속되는 경우는 탈수 상태로 되어 쇼크를 일으키는 경우도 있으므로 입원 치료를 하여야 한다. 통증이 둔하고 지속적으로 따끔따끔하게 아픈 복통은 변비나 장내에 가스가 차 있을 때 볼 수 있으며, 온엄법을 쓰면 쾌적해진다. 일반적으로 진통제나 위장 약을 복용하는 정도는 별 지장이 없지만, 통증이 심할 때는 즉각 의사의 진단이 필요하며 설사제는 의사의 지시에 따라 사용하여야 한다. 또한 부위별로 보면, 명치 부근의 격통은 위장 질환에 많고, 급성 위염·위궤양·위 암·위 하수 외에 십이지장 궤양·복막염·담석 발작·급성 췌장염·췌장 괴사 등을 비롯하여 심근경색의 경우에도 가끔 볼 수 있다. 우횡복의 통증은 담석·담낭염을 비롯하여 간이나 심장의 병 또는 흉막염이나 폐렴 등에서 볼 수 있다. 좌횡복의 경우는 비장
