Category: Mom's health A hormone released by the placenta that serves to loosen ligaments and joints throughout the body. The purpose is to relax the pelvis, increasing the size of the pelvic diameters to allow passage of the baby at birth. An outmoded EDM power supply circuit which uses capacitors to store the charge that produces the spark at the gap. The capacitor is charged through a resistor and discharged across the gap when conditions are correct (gap distance, voltage, etc.). This is the original EDM circuit and is seldom used in advanced machines.
