reading frame
A sequence of sense codons such that each suceeding triplet generates the correct order of amino acids resulting in a polypeptide chain.

reading frame
The way an mRNA is read as a series of triplet codons during translation. There are three possible reading frames for any mRNA, and the correct reading frame is set by recognition of the AUG initiation codon.

reading frame
A codon sequence that is comprised from reading DNA bases in groups of three from a specific start site, usually the beginning of a gene. Insertion or deletion mutations to a gene뭩 DNA sequence thus disrupt the normal reading frame.

reading frame
the codon sequence that is determined by reading bases in groups of three beginning with the start codon (the codon at which protein synthesis is initiated)

|
reading frame
A sequence of codons beginning with an intiation codon and ending with a termination codon, typically of at least 150 bases (50 amino acids) coding for a polypeptide or protein chain (see ORF and URF).
