| popper |
Popper was an Austrian-born, British philosopher of science. He is known as one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century and contributed much in the areas of science, social and political philosophy. Perhaps Popper's best known contribution is his repudiation of the classical observationalist-inductivist account of science in favor of advancing empirical falsifiability as the criterion for distinguishing science from non-science in the scientific method.
