| Boyden chamber | <apparatus> Simple chamber used to test for chemotaxis, especially of leucocytes. Consists of two compartments separated by a millipore filter (3-8 m pore size), chemotactic factor is placed in one compartment and the gradient develops across the thickness of the filter (ca 150 m).
