| 설명 | 관 혹은 통로에 있는 막과 같은 주름. 내용물의 역류를 막는다. 1.심장판막: 우심방과 우심실사이의 삼첨판, 좌심방과 좌심실사이의 승모판, 우심실과 폐동맥사이의 폐동맥반월판, 좌심실과 대동맥사이의 대동맥반월판이 있다. 2.정맥판막: 정맥에서 발견되는 내막의 작은 첨 혹은 주름. 탄력성이 적어 역류되기 쉬운 정맥혈의 흐름을 역류없이 정상적인 방향으로 지속되도록 해준다. 3.인공판막: 심장판막부족이나 심장판막협착이 있어 더이상 자신의 판막으로는 생존이 불가능할 때 대신 이식하게 되는 인공판막을 말한다. 크게 동물의 조직을 이용한 것과 그렇지 않은 것으로 양분할 수 있다. 동물의 조직을 이용한 것은 주로 돼지나 소의 판막 또는 심외막 등을 이용하며, 그렇지 않은 것은 특수한 금속을 이용하여 만든다. |

In some amenorrhoeas, oestrogen is given to restore menses; if the therapy is unsuccessful, this may indicate the presence of pathology, for instance, pituitary tumour. Benefits for postmenopausal women include a lowered risk of heart attack (oestrogen lowers LDL and raises HDL levels), and prevention of osteoporosis, since the rate of bone loss is directly linked to a drop in oestrogen levels (see perimenopause). Medical opinion about the hazard posed by such therapy remains divided.
