| sweating, gustatory | Excessive sweating of the forehead, upper lip, perioral region, or sternum subsequent to ingestion of hot or spicy foods. It may also be caused by tumours or other injuries to the parotid gland, as in auriculotemporal syndrome (frey's disease).
