A benign neoplasm composed of nerve fibers and mature ganglion cells, regarded by many as a fully differentiated neuroblastoma. A neuroblastoma is a sarcoma consisting of malignant neuroblasts, usually arising in the autonomic nervous system. It affects mostly infants and children up to 10 years of age.
