) means the diagnosis of a cerebrovascular incident causing infarction of brain tissue due to hemorrhage, thrombosis or embolism, producing a measurable neurological deficit persisting for a least 30 days following the occurrence of the stroke. Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA) are excluded.
