| angle closure glaucoma | <ophthalmology> Primary glaucoma in which contact of the iris with the peripheral cornea excludes aqueous humor from the trabecular drainage meshwork causing a sudden blockage of the normal fluid circulation within the eyeball resulting in increased intraocular pressure.
