a secondary immune response, occurring with a second or subsequent exposure to an antigen. It is more rapid and greater than the response that occurred following primary exposure Amplifying Host- A host in which infectious agents multiply rapidly to high levels, providing an important source of infection for vectors in vector-borne diseases.
