| review, tutorial | A type of review citing literature that will give the user a general and reasonably thorough coverage of a subject with which he may or may not be familiar. | drug utilization review | Formal programs for assessing drug prescription against some standard. Drug utilization review may consider clinical appropriateness, cost effectiveness, and, in some cases, outcomes. Review is usually retrospective, but some analysis may be done before drugs are dispensed (as in computer systems which advise physicians when prescriptions are entered). This device led to his discovery that the helium nucleus was less massive than the two hydrogen nuclei which could have formed it (implying that the missing mass could somehow be converted into energy through the process of nuclear fusion).
