  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C - »õâ A vascular endothelial growth factor that specifically binds to VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR-2 and VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR-3. In addition to being an angiogenic factor it can act on LYMPHATIC VESSELS to stimulate LYMPHANGIOGENESIS. It is similar in structure to VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR D in that they both contain N- and C-terminal extensions that were not found in other VEGF family members.
    Synonyms : VEGF-C, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-C
  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D - »õâ A vascular endothelial growth factor that specifically binds to VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR-2 and VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR-3. In addition to being an angiogenic factor it can act on LYMPHATIC VESSELS to stimulate LYMPHANGIOGENESIS. It is similar in structure to VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR C in that they both contain N- and C-terminal extensions that were not found in other VEGF family members.
Synonyms : FIGF Protein, VEGF-D, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-D, c-fos-Induced Growth Factor, c fos Induced Growth Factor
  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor-1 - »õâ A 180-kDa VEGF receptor found primarily in endothelial cells that is essential for vasculogenesis and vascular maintenance. It is also known as Flt-1 (fms-like tyrosine kinase receptor-1). A soluble, alternatively spliced isoform of the receptor may serve as a binding protein that regulates the availability of various ligands for VEGF receptor binding and signal transduction.
Synonyms : FLT1 RTK, FLT1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase, Proto-Oncogene Protein flt, VEGF Receptor flt-1 Protein, VEGF Receptor, FLT, fms-Like Tyrosine Kinase, FLT VEGF Receptor, Proto Oncogene Protein flt, Receptor, FLT VEGF, Tyrosine Kinase, fms-Like
  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor-2 - »õâ A 200-230-kDa tyrosine kinase receptor for vascular endothelial growth factors found primarily in endothelial and hematopoietic cells and their precursors. VEGFR-2 is important for vascular and hematopoietic development, and mediates almost all endothelial cell responses to VEGF.
Synonyms : Fetal Liver Kinase-1, Flk-1 Protein, Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase, KDR Tyrosine Kinase, Kinase Insert Domain Receptor, VEGF Receptor Flk-1, VEGF Receptor KDR, Fetal Liver Kinase 1, Flk 1 Protein, Flk 1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase, Flk-1, VEGF Receptor
  • Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor-3 - »õâ A vascular endothelial cell growth factor receptor whose expression is restricted primarily to adult lymphatic endothelium. VEGFR-3 preferentially binds the vascular endothelial growth factor C and vascular endothelial growth factor D and may be involved in the control of lymphangiogenesis.
Synonyms : FLT4 Protein, Flt-4, Flt 4, Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 3
