one of the manifestations of abnormal fibrillin metabolism, a congenital disorder of connective tissue characterized by abnormal length of extremities, especially fingers and toes, subluxation of the lens, cardiovascular abnormalities (commonly dilatation of the ascending aorta), and other deformities. It is an autosomal dominant disorder with variable degree of expression.
