1) A deadly plague illness whose symptoms include high fever and scar-producing pustules (like smallpox) or 2) An incense cone used in the treatment of many ills. It is placed on the skin at the appropriate ki point (in order to balance yin and yang) and allowed to burn all the way down, leaving a round burn scar on the patient's skin
