| 영문 | white blood cell(WBC), leukocyte | 한글 | 백혈구 |
|---|---|---|---|

| radioiodinated serum albumin | A sterile, buffered, isotonic solution prepared to contain not less than 10 mg of radioiodinated normal human serum albumin per ml, and adjusted to provide not more than 1 mCi of radioactivity per ml; used as a diagnostic aid in determining blood volume and cardiac output. Synonym: radioiodinated serum albumin. (05 Mar 2000) |
| maternal serum alpha-fetoprotein | A plasma protein, alpha-fetoprotein (afp) is normally produced by the foetus. The level of afp in the blood serum of pregnant women provides a screening test for open neural tube defects (anencephaly and spina bifida) and for down syndrome (and other chromosome abnormalities). The maternal serum afp (msafp) tends to be unusally high with open neural tube defects and unsually low with down syndrome. (12 Dec 1998) |

| muscle serum | The fluid remaining after the coagulation of muscle plasma and the separation of myosin. (05 Mar 2000) |
| convalescent serum | Serum from patients recently recovered from a disease; useful in preventing or modifying by passive immunization the same disease in exposed susceptible individuals. (05 Mar 2000) |
