| LVH |
A process in which the heart becomes enlarged and does not work efficiently. The left ventricle is the chamber of the heart that pumps blood from the lungs around the body. Prolonged strain on the heart, for example, because of anaemia or high blood pressure, can lead to LVH. LVH weakens the heart and increases the risk of heart attacks.

| LVH |
Enlargement of the left ventricle of the heart. This increase in ventricular mass is attributed to sustained abnormal pressure or volume loads and is a contributor to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
