The Agreement between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the Destruction and Non-production of Chemical Weapons and on Measures to Facilitate the Multilateral Convention is referred to as the Bilateral Destruction Agreement. The BDA calls for the destruction of most of the Parties' chemical weapons (CW) capability and prohibits production of CW.
