| Baltic myoclonic e. |
a progressive, autosomal recessive form of myoclonic epilepsy seen in Finland. Onset is between the ages of 6 and 13 and there are degenerative changes in the brain without presence of Lafora bodies. Mental deterioration is milder and survival is longer than in Lafora's myoclonic epilepsy. Called also Unverricht's or Unverricht-Lundborg disease.
