schema A schema defines vocabularies, structure and rules by which each type of element within an information set are interrelated and stored for further processing.

schema A schema is a collection of database objects owned by a particular user and is identified by the user's name. Schema objects include tables, views, sequences, and indexes. Tables belonging to one user's schema cannot be part of another user's schema.
