It is contracted from coming in contact with urine of infect animals including cattle, sheep, wild animals, rats, and other dogs. Symptoms of Leptospirosis include fever, loss of appetite, bloody feces, listlessness, vomiting, and increased thirst. Vaccinations can have serious side effects and immunity is only 4-6 months.
