| Pectobacterium |
a genus of gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped organisms of the family Enterobacteriaceae, made up of plant pathogens. The organisms are not human pathogens but have been occasionally isolated from clinical specimens. Formerly called Erwinia.
