| hyaluronoglucosaminidase |
[EC 3.2.1.35] an enzyme of the hydrolase class that catalyzes the hydrolysis of random β-1,4 linkages between N-acetylglucosamine and D- glucuronic acid residues in hyaluronic acid. It also hydrolyzes chondroitin, chondroitin 4- and 6-sulfates, and dermatan sulfate. It is one of the enzymes called hyaluronidases; see also hyaluronate lyase and hyaluronoglucuronidase.
