| gamma camera |
Remotely operated gamma ray imaging system that generates photos showing radiation areas within the hot side of a nuclear power plant, fuel reprocessing facility or other nuclear installation. The gamma camera is particularly useful during decommissioning and remediation activities for identifying major hot spots in equipment such as reactor vessels, steam generators, or reactor water systems which may contribute to worker exposure.
