The species with more rigid leaves (as Yucca aloifolia, Y. Treculiana, and Y. Baccata) are called Spanish bayonet, and one with softer leaves (Y. Filamentosa) is called bear grass, and Adam's needle.

yuen <zoology> The crowned gibbon (Hylobates pileatus), native of Siam, Southern China, and the Island of Hainan. It is entirely arboreal in its habits, and has very long arms. The females are yellowish white, with a dark spot on the breast and another on the crown.
