Also known as "athlete's foot or ringworm foot." It is not an invasive disease. It is a superficial fungal infection affecting the feet. Bacterial infection may develop secondary to tinea pedis. This may result in cellulitis, lymphangitis, pyoderma, gangrene or systemic infections.
